Each Sunday, On3 takes a look at some interesting stats you should know coming out of that week’s games. Here are 12 from Week 7:

2: Purdue’s win over No. 2 Iowa was its second victory in the past four seasons over a second-ranked opponent. The other came against Ohio State in 2018. In addition, Purdue coach Jeff Brohm now is 4-1 against Iowa.

4: Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson had four sacks during the Crimson Tide’s 49-9 rout of Mississippi State. Anderson is the first Alabama player to record four sacks in a game since Crimson Tide and NFL legend Derrick Thomas had five against Texas A&M in December 1988. The four sacks is tied for second-most in a single game in Tide history, along with Thomas (in a different 1988 game) and Leroy Cook (1975).

5: True freshman quarterback Caleb Williams accounted for five touchdowns in leading Oklahoma to a 52-31 win over TCU in his first game as the Sooners’ starting quarterback. In his past seven quarters, against Texas and TCU, Williams has 507 passing yards, 154 rushing yards, seven plays of 35-plus yards and eight touchdowns without any turnovers.

7: Georgia true freshman tight end Brock Bowers is up to seven touchdown receptions after scoring two during the Bulldogs’ 30-13 win over Kentucky. In the past 10 seasons, only seven SEC tight ends have scored seven touchdowns in a season — Kyle Pitts (Florida), Jace Sternberger (Texas A&M), Jared Pinkney (Vanderbilt), Irv Smith (Alabama), Albert Okwuegbunam (Missouri), Evan Engram (Ole Miss) and now Bowers, who’s reached that number in his first seven career games.

13: No. 18 Arizona State had 13 penalties in its 35-21 loss at Utah. In their two losses, the Sun Devils have been called for 29 penalties; they committed 16 during a loss at BYU.

14: After Texas scored to take a 24-13 lead early in the third quarter against Oklahoma State, Jim Knowles’ Cowboys defense held the Longhorns scoreless and to 14 total yards during the final 26:17 (which included six Texas drives) to help No. 12 Oklahoma State come back for a 32-24 victory over the No. 25 Longhorns.

17: In the latest underwhelming performance from Clemson’s offense, the Tigers were held to three scores (two touchdowns and a field goal) during a 17-14 win over Syracuse. Clemson has failed to score more than 19 points in regulation against any of its first five Power 5 opponents. This comes after the Tigers ranked in the top four nationally in scoring in each of the previous three seasons (averaging at least 43.5 points per game in each of those three seasons).

32.5: ULM, a 32.5-point underdog against a Liberty squad led by coach Hugh Freeze and potential first-round NFL quarterback Malik Willis, beat the Flames 31-28. It was the fifth-biggest upset in an FBS game since 2000, according to ESPN Stats & Info. It also was the second time this season an underdog of at least 30 points won a game; Bowling Green beat Minnesota as a 31-point underdog on September 25.

75: No player nationally has produced more plays of at least 75 yards than Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams. He added another during the Tide’s win over Mississippi State, a 75-yard catch-and-run TD early in the third quarter. Through his first seven games at Alabama, Williams has five plays of at least 75 yards.

99: Ohio quarterback Armani Rogers broke a 99-yard touchdown run during the Bobcats’ loss to Buffalo, the longest run by a quarterback in FBS history.

195: Ole Miss QB Matt Corral ran for 195 yards on 30 carries during the Rebels’ 31-26 win over Tennessee. The 30 carries were the most from an Ole Miss player since BenJarvus Green-Ellis in 2007. The yardage total ranks as the second-most from a Rebels player in an SEC game since Dexter McCluster in 2009, behind only QB John Rhys Plumlee (who ran for 212 yards against LSU in 2019). Corral also threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Tennessee.

240: WR David Bell was the biggest star for Purdue during its upset of Iowa. Bell hauled in 11 catches for 240 yards and a touchdown. In three career games against the Hawkeyes, Bell has 37 catches, 558 yards and five touchdowns. Bell has had at least 11 catches, at least 121 yards and at least one touchdown in each of his three games against Iowa.
