Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star safety Conrad Hussey will be revealing his college destination at 6:00 p.m. E.T tonight, he announced over Instagram. The Penn State commit is choosing between the Nittany Lions, Florida State and Miami.

Hussey is the No. 249 overall prospect and No. 18 safety in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 47 player in Florida.

On3 rates Hussey higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, Hussey is the No. 215 overall prospect, No. 16 safety and No. 44 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound defensive back has visited all three of his finalists. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Seminoles have a 95.4% chance to flip him from Penn State.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Hussey has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12.7K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Conrad Hussey On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Conrad Hussey:

“The next man up at the St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) defensive back factory who can play center field, deep half, man coverage and walk down in the box. Good looking build and frame that can put on an easy 10 to 15 pounds. Measures in at 6-foot-1.5, 190 pounds with a 6-foot-3.5 wingspan. Explosive player whose athletic ability shines on tape. Jumped nearly a 26-inch vertical during the spring camp circuit prior to his senior year. Ran 10.90 in the 100m, 23.05 in the 200m and jumped a 21-foot-2 long jump during his junior track and field campaign.

“Ball skills are apparent on film. Recorded 4 interceptions during his state championship winning junior season. Does an excellent job of playing through receivers hands at the catch point. Fluid hips and sideline to sideline speed allow him to cover every blade of grass on the field. Much more comfortable in space than in the box, but is a willing tackler. Extremely high ceiling and upside. Will rise up draft boards if he can become more efficient in the run game.”
