Nashville (Tenn.) McGavock four-star wide receiver Demitrius Bell has largely been quiet on the recruiting front over the past few months.

But a new team has emerged as the favorite to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). After a pair of new expert picks, Nebraska now holds a 95.4 percent chance of securing his commitment.

Bell is scheduled to take an official visit with the Huskers this weekend.

The 6-foot, 175-pounder is the No. 452 overall prospect and No. 67 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 player in Tennessee.

On3 rates Bell higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. He isn’t ranked in the 2023 On300, but does check in as a four-star prospect and the No. 54 wide receiver nationally.

Bell currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Demitrius Bell Scouting Summary

“Two-way playmaker whose twitch and suddenness pop off the screen along with his ball skills and ability to put the ball in the endzone on any given play. Natural pass catcher who has soft hands. Totaled 35 receptions for 498 yards and 7 touchdowns during his junior season. Phenomenal with the ball in his hands after the catch. Makes defenders miss with his hip fluidity and ability to pull through arm tackles. Not much of a threat on 50-50 balls and question top-end speed. Projects to a Z-type receiver or potentially a slot weapon at the next level. High floor prospect who will be a significant role player early on in his career. Plays basketball as well.”
