Former Dallas Cowboys’ superstar receiver Dez Bryant has never been shy about sharing his opinions on a wide variety of topics over the years on social media. He’s one of the more opinionated former athletes out there and he’ll share his opinion on football, the Dallas Cowboys, and an endless number of other topics.

Since it is March Madness and the NCAA Tournament has begun, everybody loves sharing their picks on social media. Bryant hasn’t been shy about sharing his picks during the tournament, and on Friday he likes some big upsets.

Check them out below.

Bryant likes the Miami Hurricanes to advance and get past the Drake Bulldogs in their first-round matchup. The good news for Bryant and anybody else that picked Miami to win their first-round matchup is that the Hurricanes will have their big man, Norchad Omier. He suffered a right ankle injury in the ACC Tournament, but he’s expected to be able to play against Drake on Friday night. While Miami has no shortage of talent, Omier is a huge piece of their team, averaging 13.6 points and 9.7 rebounds.

The Hurricanes feature one of the deeper rosters of talent in the NCAA Tournament and it’ll be interesting to see if they can make a decent run. They’ve got three other players that average double digits: Isaiah Wong, Jordan Miller, and Nijel Pack.

Another interesting pick that Bryant made was picking Providence to upset the Kentucky Wildcats. Bryant thinks that Oscar Tshiebwe and the Wildcats are going down. Tshiebwe has once again does what he’s been doing for the past two seasons–be a dominant double-double machine for Kentucky. The gifted big man has averaged 16.5 points and 13.1 rebounds for the Wildcats this year, firmly cementing his status as one of the most prolific rebounders in school history the past two years.

Kentucky comes into their contest against Providence with an overall record of 21-11 and if they were indeed dealt another disappointing first round exit, as Bryant predicts, that wouldn’t mean good things for Wildcats’ head coach John Calipari, who has been under fire ever since his team was bounced by 15th-seeded St. Peter’s in the 2022 NCAA Tournament. It will be interesting to see if Bryant’s prediction comes true. Kentucky fans are certainly hoping it doesn’t.

Another interesting upset that Bryant picked were the 13th seeded Kent State Golden Flashes over the 4th seeded Indiana Hoosiers out of the Big Ten Conference. The Golden Flashes are the MAC Champions.

The former Cowboys’ star also picked Montana State to upset Kansas State and the Memphis Tigers to defeat Florida Atlantic. Memphis recently defeated the Houston Cougars 75-65, one of the best teams in college basketball, in the AAC Championship. Bryant also picked the Iona Gaels to take down the Uconn Huskies, and the Gaels are coached by the legendary Rick Pitino.
