Three-star senior Braeden Moore committed to BYU on Friday, he told On3.

“BYU is the best fit and that was always my goal,” Moore said to On3. “The style of play, academics, culture, coaches, and location won me over.”

Moore originally committed to Rutgers in late July of last year before reopening his recruitment a few months later. Wisconsin and Nebraska hosted him for visits, but he also received offers from Kansas, Memphis, Auburn, Tennessee, and others.

A 6-foot-8 power forward from Nashville who attended Kanye West’s Donda Academy (Calif.), Moore is ranked as the No. 277 prospect in the class of 2022, according to the On3 Consensus — a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Moore is also ranked as the No. 56 power forward in the class.
