ESPN releases updated Bracketology, shakes up the field for 2023 March Madness
As January wraps up, the talk surrounding the bracket will really start to heat up with one month left in college basketball’s regular season. While several teams have separated themselves, there’s still a lot we don’t know about how the 2023 edition of March Madness could look. Still, with February a week away, Joe Lunardi laid it all out for us in the latest update to Bracketology.
As of now, Lunardi says the only certainties on the No. 1 seed are Purdue and Alabama. With Houston and Kansas taking losses over the last week, that’s given wiggle room to teams like Tennessee, UCLA, Kansas State, and Arizona to enter that conversation. He also highlighted the surprising race in his ‘First Four Out’ section of the Bracketology as it features three Big 12 teams trying to hang on for their NCAA Tournament lives.
