ESPN updates Bracketology ahead of critical matchups with big March Madness implications
With two days left before Selection Sunday, NCAA Tournament projections are coming down to the wire. A lot is still to be determined as several conference tournaments wrap up but, still, Joe Lunardi has provided yet another look into what the Field of 68 could look like in his latest update to Bracketology.
Not much has changed up top since several of the top teams haven’t even really started in their league tournaments. However, the bubble has shifted a lot considering the teams that have played themselves out of the dance. To Lunardi, that pack is led by North Carolina and includes Nevada and Michigan.
Meanwhile, Lunardi says Penn State, Mississippi State, and Rutgers have played their way in and that it’s too soon to determine the fates of Pittsburgh, Utah State, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, or Clemson. Finally, he noted Oregon and Vanderbilt as teams to watch in Bracketology considering they could improve their standings today against UCLA and Kentucky, respectively.
