Elite Texas ATH Terry Bussey is one of the few blue-chip recruits still on the board ahead of National Signing Day on Wednesday.

That will change this week and the Five-Star Plus+ ATH has locked in a time to go public with his decision.

Bussey, the No. 1 ATH in the On300 for the 2024 recruiting cycle, will choose from Texas A&M, LSU and Georgia on Wednesday, February 7 at 9 a.m. CT from Timpson (Texas) High School in East Texas, On3 has learned.

Bussey has been committed to the Aggies since September when he committed to Jimbo Fisher and co. over the likes of LSU, Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama. The Five-Star Plus+ kept an “open” approach to his recruitment after Fisher and Texas A&M parted ways, which opened the door for visits back to LSU and to Georgia over the past two weekends. Bussey was back in College Station around new Aggies HC Mike Elko for the first time last weekend for an official visit.

Bussey is tabbed as the No. 1 athlete in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies He is the No. 11 overall player in the country and the No. 3 overall prospect out of the state of Texas.
