In order to create the most comprehensive and unbiased team recruiting ranking, the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings are solely based on the On3 Industry Ranking. The On3 Industry Ranking compiles the rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. The algorithm equally weights On3, 247, Rivals, and ESPN at 25 percent. The On3 Team Recruiting Rankings average each commitment’s player rating from the On3 Industry Ranking.

2024 On3 Team Recruiting Rankings

Here is a look at five teams whose On3 Team Ranking is outside of the top 25 to watch as they get on campus.

Colorado

On3 Team Ranking: No. 26
Class (On3 Ranking): SF Andrew Crawford (No. 58), PF Sebastian Rancik (No. 68), C Doryan Onwuchekwa (No. 106), SG Felix Kossaras (No. 83)

The Buzz: This is a class that checks a lot of boxes for Tad Boyle. In Andrew Crawford, you have a connecting wing with defensive versatility who can initiate and make reads. With Sebastian Rancik, you have a skilled forward who can stretch the floor and make plays in the half-court. With Doryan Onwuchekwa, you have a low-block presence who can score over both shoulders and rebound. In Felix Kossaras you have a versatile guard who is comfortable shooting it or as a secondary ball handler.

This class has multi-year talents that could crack the rotation early in their careers. There is offensive skill, defensive versatility, shooting, and processing.

St. Mary’s

On3 Team Ranking: No. 29
Class (On3 Ranking): SG Mikey Lewis (No. 81), SF Zion Sensley (No. 116)

The Buzz: Throughout the process, both of these players were pursued and evaluated by multiple high-major programs. Mikey Lewis averaged over 17 points per game on Nike’s EYBL Circuit this summer. He is a rangy shooter and able to create space off the bounce. Zion Sensley has a lengthy, fluid frame. He is capable of shooting with range and getting on the rim in transition. Both are upside guys who could take major steps in college.

TCU

On3 Team Ranking: No. 33
Class (On3 Ranking): SF Micah Robinson (No. 82), PF David Punch (No. 98), C Malick Diallo (N0. 113), PG Ashton Simmons (NR)

The Buzz: Jamie Dixon signed a group of players who have produced numbers at the highest levels of competition. Micah Robinson was Oak Hill’s leading scorer last season on the NIBC. David Punch averaged 15 and seven on Nike’s EYBL Circuit this summer. Malick Diallo was Wasatch Academy’s leading shot blocker last season on the NIBC. Ashton Simmons led Nike’s Peach Jam in assists this summer. The pieces of this class fit together. They all bring a sense of toughness to the table with the ability to defend and rebound.

All four of these players have the upside to be multi-year starters for the Horned Frogs. They also could find themselves in the rotation earlier rather than later.

St. John’s

On3 Team Ranking: No. 46
Class (On3 Ranking): SF Jaiden Glover (No. 41), C Khaman Maker (No. 80), SG Lefteris Liotopoulos (NR)

The Buzz: Rick Pitino continues to prove his chops as a recruiter of talent. Jaiden Glover is a two-way wing who plays his high school ball in New Jersey. He can knock down shots and guard the opposing team’s top perimeter threat. Khaman Maker is one of the top rim protectors in the class with great length, mobility, and natural timing. Pitino flexed his Greek connections in getting a commitment from Lefteris Liotopoulos who has the reputation as a tough-minded shooter.

Villanova

On3 Team Ranking: No.48
The Class (On3 Ranking): SF Matthew Hodge (No. 78), PF Malcolm Thomas (NR), PF Josiah Moseley (No. 99)

The Buzz: This Kyle Neptune class is one that Villanova fans have come to appreciate from the Wildcats. A group of under-the-radar and over-producing players who bring toughness to the table. Matthew Hodge is a skilled forward with positional size and the ability to dribble, shoot, and handle. Josiah Moseley is a forward who can use his strength around the basket or his skill to attack from the perimeter. Malcolm Thomas, son of former NBA center Etan Thomas, is a defensive-minded forward with great length and a lot of explosive pop.
