Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage four-star running back Mark Fletcher released his top seven schools Wednesday.

Those schools are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and Penn State.

Fletcher is the No. 167 overall recruit in the country, according to the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is considered the fifth-best running back in the state of Florida after Lehigh Acres (Fla.) Lehigh Senior’s Richard Young, Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater’s Cedric Baxter Jr., Jacksonville Trinity Christian Academy’s Treyaun Webb and Orange Park (Fla.) Fleming Island’s Samuel Sin gleton.

Fletcher visited Penn State for the Nittany Lions’ game against Michigan with teammate Damari Brown and Daemon Fagan.

“I mentioned Fletcher in my running back hot board last week,” BWI’s
Ryan Snyder wrote. “Contacts that I trust have stressed that Fletcher’s relationship with Seider may be the strongest of any 2023 running back currently. Although Penn State would love to add some speed in this class – Fletcher is more of a downhill, power back – Penn State is very encouraged with the relationship that’s been formed here. It’s also notable that Fletcher’s father is the one bringing these three to Penn State. All three are important to the staff, but Fletcher is the one that I think we need to watch the closest.”
