Florida State 4-star WR commit CJ Wiley is in Athens visiting Georgia for the Auburn game

Milton (Ga.) four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley is committed to Florida State and he has attended a couple of Seminole games this season, but with Mike Norvell’s program struggling the first half of the season, other schools are trying to take advantage of that.
One school that hasn’t given up is Georgia. The in-state school has remained in contact with the 6-foot-3.75, 210-pound playmaker less than an hour from Athens and On3 has confirmed that Wiley is in Athens Saturday for the Auburn game.
There was chatter about this visit earlier in the week, but with Wiley taking the SAT early Saturday morning, we weren’t sure if he would make it. Wiley showing up at Georgia shows there is still some level of interest in the Bulldogs.
Wide receivers coach James Coley would love for the No. 79 overall prospect and No. 13 wide receiver in the 2025 On300 to change his mind.

“He says that there is no need for me to leave the state and that they need me here,” Wiley said in an interview with On3 last month. “Coach Coley tells me that I can come there and make an impact early.”
Auburn is working on getting Wiley on campus too. He is an LSU legacy, so the Tigers will always be on his mind. Georgia though, is viewed as the biggest competition for Florida State, so Wiley returning to Athens shows he still has some level of interest in Kirby Smart‘s program.
