Former NFL QB Tim Hasselbeck named head coach at powerhouse high school program

Former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck was named head coach at Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth, according to Tom Kreager of The Tennessean.
Hasselbeck played eight seasons in the NFL for the New York Giants, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Arizona Cardinals. He played college football at Boston College before being signed as an undrafted free agent.
“I am deeply thankful and honored for this opportunity to lead the Ensworth football program,” Hasselbeck said in a release. “Our family has been part of the Ensworth community for nearly a decade, and this Ensworth community has been like family to us. Our football team, as students of Ensworth, will carry the mission to pursue integrity and excellence on the field, in the classroom, and as contributors to the City of Nashville.”
Notable current prospects enrolled at Ensworth include four-star Michigan linebacker commit Mason Curtis, three-star cornerback Jaren Sensabaugh and 2025 top-50 defensive lineman Ethan Utley.
