Four-Star CB Antione Jackson reclassifies to 2023

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard High cornerback Antione Jackson announced that he will be reclassifying to the 2023 class Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-1, 170 pounder is committed to the University of Miami.

Jackson sent a statement to On3 regarding his reclassification:

This journey hasn’t been easy. I’ll like to thank everyone who helped me along the way.

After talking with family and coaches, I’ll be reclassifying to the 2023 class.

It’s been a long journey Dillard family. Thanks for believing in me and allowing me to display my talents at a high level.

It is time for new beginnings. Thank you God.

After reclassifying, Jackson joins coach Cristobal and the Hurricanes’ number 11 class in the 2023 Consensus Team Rankings. He is accompanied by Francis Mauigoa, Jaden Rashada, Jayden Wayne, and others.

The Sunshine State defensive back currently ranks as the No. 103 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting services. He also tabs in as the No. 9 cornerback and the No. 22 player in the state of Florida.
