Mont Belvieu, Texas – Houston Lamar High offensive tackle Dramodd Odoms took part in the Next Level Athlete Camp in the Houston area at Barbers Hill High Saturday.

As always, he turned heads walking through the door with his frame and high-ceiling.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder with long arms and physical upside told On3 shortly after camp check in that he has three Junior Day visits in January.

“On the 20th I’m going to be going to Texas,” Odoms said Saturday. “And I believe I’m going to be taking a trip to Texas A&M and Baylor. I’ve got to see what the schedule is looking like.”

Those visits would be January 27 to Texas A&M and the 28th to Baylor.

No. 104 ranked prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking is up to 15 offers. That offer list includes 11 Power 5’s with Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M and Tennessee out of the SEC.

Odoms recruitment is seemingly trending toward the SEC early on.

Odoms talks three early favorites

Texas: “I just talked to Coach (Kyle) Flood two days ago letting him know that I’m coming up on the 20th. He said great, and asked who was coming up with me. It will be my mom. Texas had a really year. They could have made it to the National Championship, but it was just the little things they did (that kept them from it). They have a real big chance. Texas is looking good in the future.”

Texas A&M: “I have been keeping in contact with the new staff. They came by the school (in December). Coach (Mike) Elko and Coach (Adam) Cushing told me that I’m going to be heavily recruited by them, and they want to keep watching me. They said they will be staying in contact with me. And hopefully pull me in. They have a whole new coach staff, of course. I just want to see what’s going to be going on with that.”

LSU: “I went to see LSU play Arkansas this year. It’s definitely a different vibe than any of the other ones (schools) I go to. It’s just different in a good way. I talked to Coach Brad (Davis) three days ago. I was asking where the Junior Days are going to be, and he said he would let me know.”

Odoms is attacking the process like most in the 2025 cycle. Spring visits, summer official visits and decision in July prior to his senior season.

“I’m really into the final stages of my process. Spring is coming up, so I’m probably getting more offers then. And I will make my decision in the summer.”

Odoms is the No. 104 ranked prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking. He also checks in as the No. 11 ranked offensive tackle, and No. 20 ranked prospect in Texas.
