Four-star EDGE Solomon Williams of Tampa (FL) Carrollwood Day High narrowed his list to five schools on Thursday.

The 6-foot-3, 235 pounder is down to the following: Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, Texas, and Texas A&M.

Breaking down the finalists

Williams broke down what stands out about each of his top schools:

Alabama Crimson Tide: Why not Bama? The track record and development is there!

Oregon Ducks: Coach Lanning and Lupoi are gurus at the edge position and can develop me to become the best on and off the field!

Clemson Tigers: Always has been a school I loved, just with how they go about things and the standard at Clemson!

Texas Longhorns: Texas is Texas. I feel I can become the best version of myself there and great coaching staff to help to do so!

Texas A&M Aggies: Great school with a great fan base. I feel I can become a great player and become the best possible young man with a great coaching staff to mold me to get there.
