Four-star safety Jaydan Hardy of Lewisville (TX) High has narrowed his list to five schools– Oklahoma, Tennessee, SMU, Texas A&M, and Oregon.

The 6-foot, 175 pounder went in-depth on his finalists.

Oklahoma

Coach Venables is an all-time great defensive coach in my eyes. Being recruited by coach Valai since my freshman year since he was at Alabama grew a bond between us like no other coach in my recruitment. Coach Hall just recently started reciting me but after hearing guys like Peyton Bowen tell me how great of a coach he is has made Oklahoma a top contender on my list. I love the way Oklahoma practices and the bond the players and coaches have between them. I’ll get to see the final result of spring at the spring game on the 22nd.

Tennessee

The legacy my dad holds at Tennessee has always made them my dream school since I was a kid. He played there 87-91 and The vols were all I ever knew growing up. It was on tv every Saturday. Last year my whole family was happy to see them do so good. Even though their defense got some hate, Coach Banks is one of my favorite DCs in the college.

SMU

I have been to SMU countless times with it being so close to my crib. I love the image they are building and getting back to the old smu days with them being in the Pac 12 this year. I see them being a top 25 team by the end of the season and have really great staff and talent to match the dream they are speaking of. I see the vision at SMU with them getting a new facility in the spring of 2024. If they have a good year they can get a good 2024 class with locals around that I want to help build.

Texas A&M

A&M has recruited me hardest since my freshman year with constantly getting me back down on campus to showing love almost everyday after they were allowed to text us. It’s close to home and Coach Jimbo has always expressed how much they want me. I always felt at home at A&M and always showed my family great hospitality every time we went down there.

Oregon

The facilities and gear are #1 in college and the location is unique. It gave me a real football town vibe with coach Dan Lanning. My Dad and I really enjoyed our time up there. I always told them Oregon would be up there for me because I felt like I could go to the league from here. It excites me seeing christian Gonzales do so well this year because we train with coach Flight and always told me nothing but good things about Oregon that made him excel to another level.

Hardy ranks as the No. 168 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 14 safety and the No. 33 player in the state of Texas.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $99K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
