4-star WR CJ Wiley commits to in-state Georgia

Milton (Ga.) four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley has committed to Georgia, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
He chose the in-state Bulldogs following his decommitment from Florida State on Oct. 27.
Wiley is the No. 81 overall prospect and No. 12 wideout in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 10 player in Georgia.
“Georgia has a place for you here if you are interested (has been their message),” Wiley told DawgsHQ recently. “Georgia can throw the ball down, and they have a strong and they have a strong running game. I can play all the receiver positions.”
The Bulldogs have once again won out for a key Peach State recruit who didn’t commit to Kirby Smart and Co. the first time around.

Wiley’s commitment to FSU earlier this year came as a surprise, but ultimately didn’t stick as the Seminoles struggled on the field in 2024.
UGA found momentum once he came back on the board and have now added another key piece to its 2025 class.
Wiley logged a visit to Athens at the beginning of October — his first as an FSU pledge. He saw the Bulldogs defeat Auburn and got another look at what the in-state program has to offer. He’s now one of five WR commits in the mix for the Dawgs this cycle.
UGA’s class sits at No. 3 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with him in the fold.
