Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star shooting guard Gicarri Harris is down to six schools, he tells On3. Moving forward, the 6-foot-4, 180-pound rising senior will consider Georgia Tech, LSU, Miami, Purdue, Stanford, and Virginia Tech.

So far, Harris has officially visited two programs — Purdue and Stanford. More visits are on the way, as he plans to visit Georgia Tech at the end of August, and trip to Miami, Virginia Tech, Purdue, and LSU all in the month of September. He plans to make a decision by mid-October.

Along with his finalists, Harris also received offers from Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Georgia, Mississippi State, Indiana, Harvard, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and others.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Gicarri Harris is the No. 109 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 21 shooting guard prospect and the No. 13 player in the state of Georgia. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Harris talks finalists

Georgia Tech: “They are home and close to my friends and family. I’ve built a great relationship with Coach Stoudamire and the rest of the coaching staff over the past few months. Leadership and development from a former NBA player is a unique opportunity, insight and perspective.”

LSU: “HC McMahon previously coached Ja Morant. My conversations with McMahon are about the vision of what my role looks like as a potential guard at LSU, while also talking about family, goals and life in general. LSU & McMahon’s history of success, development and drafted players is a great look.”

Miami: “Great and successful program, great coaching staff and is a great city & school. They just made a final 4 run last year and drafted 2 players to the NBA.”

Purdue: “We’ve had a great relationship with their coaching staff since the beginning of my 10th grade year. Purdue was my 1st official visit last September, they’ve watched a ton of my high school and AAU games in person and they did a home visit back in April.”

Stanford: “Their whole coaching staff has showed love since my sophomore year and tell me that I will have great opportunities to add value and immediate impact. They have a great campus with some of the most intelligent and innovative people in the world. I had a great visit with them last year and they want me back for another official visit.”

Virginia Tech: “I like their playing style because they let their guards have freedom. Their coaching staff continuously lets me know the value and impact that I will add to their program.”
