Indiana transfer Khristian Lander has committed to Western Kentucky, he told On3.

“As soon as I walked onto the campus of WKU, I had a feeling of being at home,” Lander said to On3. “The coaches and staff were very passionate about the program and allowing me to have the opportunity to be the best version of myself on and off the court. From the athletic trainer to the academic counselor, everyone had a plan for my future. I am excited to be a part of Western Kentucky University!”

The former five-star recruit never found a consistent role in Bloomington and averaged just over two points in nine minutes per game in his two seasons with the Hoosiers.

Lander, a 6-foot-2 point guard, was the No. 11 ranked recruit according to 247Sports in the class of 2021, before reclassifying. During his junior year at Evansville Reitz High School, Lander averaged 21.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.6 rebounds. The Indiana native decided to stay home, choosing the Hoosiers over Michigan, Memphis, Louisville, and others.
