Baye Fall is the 2023 On3 Consensus No. 8 ranked player. The Five-star center is a long and rangy post prospect who plays with a high motor and affects the game with his athleticism and frame.

Fall has taken a lone official visit to Auburn. He has also visited Arkansas, Colorado, and Seton Hall unofficially. He has a future visit to Texas on September 10, but we are not sure if he will still take that visit at this time.

1. Arkansas

Eric Musselman is recruiting at an all-time high right now. Everyone remembers the picture he took with the three McDonald’s hamburgers, signifying the three McDonald’s All-Americans he landed last year.

Fall, along with four-star – and good friend – Assane Diop, took an unofficial visit to Fayetteville, Arkansas, on February 26. Everything checked the boxes on the visit, and Diop is a take for the Razorbacks as well.

Arkansas’ chances: 90-percent

2. Auburn

Bruce Pearl made a push, and Wes Flanigan did a great job building the relationship. The Tigers were able to secure Fall’s only official visit.

Auburn likes Fall’s toughness around the basket and his fit playing in the SEC, especially with a strength and conditioning program.

Auburn’s chances: 7-percent

3. Colorado

Colorado is like home to Fall. Since coming to the U.S., that is the state in which he has lived. He has made several campus visits and gotten to know some of the people around the program.

Colorado’s chances: 3-percent

The Fall scoop

At the end of the day, sources close to the situation say the recruiting push Eric Musselman and the Razorbacks had with Fall was too much to overcome. The unofficial visit was enough to answer any questions Fall, and his people had. When you couple that with Arkansas also taking Fall’s roommate, 6-foot-10 three-star Assane Diop, the decision became easy for the five-star Fall.

Look for Fall and Diop to join four-star PG Layden Blocker in Arkansas’ 2023 class.
