Top-10 Isiah Harwell updates recruitment; talks UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Houston
Isiah Harwell came in at No. 10 in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking update. Playing up in grade, the 6-foot-5 guard recently helped lead his Utah Prospects team to the Adidas 3SSB 17u championships.
“My pace has improved; the game is slowing down a lot for me now,” Harwell tells On3.
The Mount Pleasant (UT) Wasatch Academy guard won the Adidas championship on the heels of winning a gold medal with USA Basketball in the U16 FIBA Americas Championships this summer.
“It was amazing, the whole process,” Harwell said. “Being able to compete with the best players in my class and against the best in the world. It was all a great experience, and winning it was like one of those experiences I can’t explain.”
On3 caught up with Isiah Harwell after a recent live viewing to talk about his recruitment.
Harwell talks recruitment
“I haven’t set up any visits yet, and all the schools are in contact with me, trying to build a relationship,” Harwell said.
UNC, Houston, Kansas, and Kentucky were watching Harwell on the day we caught up with him.
UNC: “That’s been my dream school growing up. I took an unofficial visit there, I love Coach Hubert (Davis); talking with him, we’ve built a good relationship. He’s a nice guy and wants the best for me.”
