I went through the 2020 class five-starts and saw how successful that class was. I wanted to do it again to see how it compared to the high school class of 2019 On3 Consensus five-stars

Ten of the 20 On3 Consensus five-stars were one-and-done players. Five of the 20 stayed in college for two seasons and declared for the 2021 NBA Draft, three players are still in college, and Isaiah Mobley and Wendell Moore were 2022 NBA Draft picks.

It should be noted this was the year before the G-League Ignite program became an available option. For a player to stay domestic, players had to go the traditional route and enter college.

While On3 did not do individual rankings, the On3 Consensus dates back to the 2009 high school class. The On3 Consensus is a proprietary algorithm that equally compiles ratings and rankings from all four of the major recruiting media services.

Let’s go through the 2019 On3 Consensus five-stars and see where they are now, just three full seasons removed from high school.
