Jesse McCulloch, a four-star center in the class of 2024, has narrowed his list of offers down to eight schools: Alabama, Indiana, Kent State, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and Xavier.

The 6-foot-9 junior out of Cleveland (Ohio) Luthern East is the No. 91 overall prospect in the class according to On3. He’s also the No. 11 ranked center prospect and the No. 1 overall recruit in the state of Ohio.

Out of his finalists, McCulloch has unofficially visited Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech.

The big man has also scheduled his first official visit to Michigan State on March 3-5. He also hopes to officially visit a couple of more programs.

McCulloch’s timeline for a commitment and what he is looking for in a school

“I’m thinking about ending my recruitment a little early for my family,” McCulloch said in a recent interview with On3. “I don’t know exactly when yet, but like earlier in 2023, probably.

“I want to go somewhere that feels like home. A place where I can make mistakes on the court but still be allowed to play through them. Style of play will matter, kind of. I really want to go into a system where I can play my game and learn from a coach to be great.”
