There’s some star-studded high school basketball occurring in the Sunshine State on Wednesday night, as California’s Prolific Prep is in to take on Miami Christopher Columbus High.

The game features three of the best prospects in the 2025 cycle: Columbus’ twin stars Cameron and Cayden Boozer, as well as Prolific’s AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 overall recruit in the On3 Industry Ranking.

In turn, the game has also brought out a pair of elite head coaches working to win the recruitments of the high-profile prospects. Kentucky head coach John Calipari and Miami skipper Jim Larrañaga are both in attendance for the showdown:

Both the Wildcats and Hurricanes have had the Boozers on campus for official visits. UK had the first of what’s now been four OVs for the twin phenoms back in September. They made the quick trip to Coral Gables at the end of October and have also visited Florida and Duke thus far. They are the sons of former Blue Devil and longtime NBA forward Carlos Boozer.

Cameron Boozer is the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Cayden checks in as the No. 14 recruit and No. 2 PG in the class.

Kentucky just officially entered the mix for Dybantsa, a 6-foot-8, 175-pound forward from Needham, Mass. Calipari and Co. offered on Tuesday and join the likes of UConn, USC, Providence, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Alabama and Auburn. He took his first official visit — to USC — at the end of October.

Dybantsa was the No. 1 prospect in the 2026 cycle, but opted to reclassify to 2025 in October. He remained the top recruit and continues to build hype as a special talent on the hardwood.

“Really, I feel like I can do a little bit of everything,” Dybantsa told KSR. “I can play defense, I can make plays and I can score. I can do everything.”

“He played up two age groups this summer in the 17U Division of Nike’s EYBL Circuit. His 17.1 points finished the regular season in the top 20 on the Nike EYBL Circuit,” On3’s Jamie Shaw wrote of Dybantsa. “He turned things up a notch during Peach Jam, where Dybantsa led all players in scoring at 25.8 points — over 4.5 points more than the second person. In total, he averaged 20.6 points and shot 50.4% from the field.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Florida has the lead for the Boozer twins, while the Trojans have the early edge for Dybantsa.
