Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge linebacker Justin Williams is the newest five-star recruit according to the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking.

Following recent industry updates, Williams now ranks as the No. 12 overall recruit in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the No. 1 linebacker and No. 3 player in Texas.

While he remains one of the nation’s top uncommitted prospects, a heavy favorite has emerged according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Oregon currently sits with a 97.9% chance to land a pledge from the 6-foot-1.5, 205-pounder.

Williams was a last in Eugene in late April for the Ducks’ spring game.

“After seeing some other schools, it brought me back some familiarity,” Williams told On3’s Sam Spiegelman. “It was good to be back and it could be home and maybe I could really fit in there. The coaches told me they were gonna make it happen — what I feel I do best, they want to make it happen and not just squeeze me into a scheme.”

“At first, I thought I would miss my mom, but it’s worth it if it happens. She loves Oregon, everything about it, and she knows I’m in the best hands and she trusts my judgment.”

Williams told ScoopDuck in April that he plans on committing sometime during the summer after he’s taken his official visits.

While he hasn’t locked in any other dates for the summer yet, Williams recently visited the back-to-back national champions in Georgia on May 20. He also told Spiegelman that Alabama and Texas are trending for visits for the summer.

Williams currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $192K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
