WATCH: Kyle Hamilton explains viral handshake with his girlfriend

Kyle Hamilton and his girlfriend, Reese, had an interesting way of celebrating when he got drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft. The former Notre Dame star explained their special handshake in his introductory press conference — and it’s awesome.
The two debuted the routine after Roger Goodell called Hamilton’s name as the No. 14 overall pick in the draft. Hamilton said they’ve been dating since high school and thought of the handshake shortly after. They’ve done it ever since, and people on social media ate it up.
“My girlfriend and I … we started dating sophomore year of high school and I think we came up with the handshake junior year or something like that,” Hamilton said. “We’ve just been doing it ever since and we just decided it seemed like the right time to do it, and I guess everyone else agreed. She’s kind of famous now, I guess.”
