London Jemison is the No. 149 player in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. The 6-foot-7 forward transferred to Oakdale (CT) St. Thomas More where he started his season off at the National Prep Showcase.

“I’d say I’m a wing, and a mismatch four,” Jemison told On3. “I can get to the rim off the dribble. I can catch and shoot and I can do a lot with my versatility. I’m creating off the dribble and shooting from three better. I’m defending the one through four.”

On3 caught up with three-star forward London Jemison after a live viewing at the National Prep Championships.

I plan to take my first official visit to Syracuse on December 30,” Jemison said. “

Jemison Talks Syracuse

“Coach G-Mac (Gerry McNamara) always tells me how much he really appreciates my game and what they could do for wings. So, watching them play and stuff, I like the pace of their game. They like to run and dunk, take open threes, and play hard.

“I’m just trying to weigh my options, right now. So I’m going to start taking visits to see my best fit and the best place for me. I just want to see how they play and what I would look like in the system. Like, what they want from their wings and how they see me playing over there.”

Jemison Talks Recruiting

“I’m talking a lot to Virginia, Xavier, and Providence,” Jemison said. “

Virginia: “I know how they’re really a defense-orientated team. They like to slow the game down but they still let you play.”

Xavier: “I like how they have like a pro style of play and I like the coaching staff too. What they have been saying is real interesting.”

Providence: “Their coaches are real cool. They’ve been to my open gyms a lot, and I like how they play. Kim English is there now.”

In His Words

“I don’t have a specific time frame for my recruitment or visits,” Jemison said. “I’m just taking it day by day, just seeing how it goes. But, I’ll probably start going on visits around the summer, and next fall I’ll probably take more.

“I’m definitely looking at player development because I’m trying to go to the league NBA. So player development, for sure. Winning is a big thing for me, too. I want to go to a home away from home. Play for coaches who really like me, and see how I fit. I say just play style too because I like to play fast the shot.”
