Following a week of college football that guaranteed no wins, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has revealed who his top performing coaches were over the weekend. Coming in first place – Kentucky‘s Mark Stoops, followed by several other coaches that led their teams to upset wins as well.

Stoops’ Wildcats defeated Florida in Gainesville in a game that no one expected them to win, and they did so handily, dominating the second half on both sides of the field. Heading into two weeks of Group of Five matchups, the No. 9 Wildcats could move up in the AP Top 25 poll even more before they take on Ole Miss on Oct. 1.

Following Stoops on the list, Georgia Southern‘s Clay Helton, BYU‘s Kalani Sitake, Washington State‘s Jake Dickert, Texas Tech‘s Joey McGuire, Duke‘s Mike Elko and Marshall‘s Charles Huff.

The Kentucky football team is coming off a major win in Gainesville over the weekend. With plenty of hype heading into that game in The Swamp, the Wildcats held Floridascoreless in the second half to come away with the 26-16 victory.

As the team enjoys their new spot in the Top-10 of the AP Poll, dinner in Lexington called for a special meal to start the week. UK QB Will Levis shared the new menu item on his Instagram story this evening. While he is known for his interesting food choices, this might be a new one for Levis.

The Kentucky vs. Florida rivalry in the SEC has reached new heights over the last several seasons. With this year’s win coming back to the bluegrass, the UK program poured just a little more salt in the wound with their unique dinner option Monday night.
