5-star IOL Darius Gray loves LSU's track record and tradition, talks official visit

LSU has On3’s No. 2 ranked recruiting class. As they push for the No. 1 spot, they hosted one of their top targets over the weekend.
Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher’s School On3 Industry five-star offensive lineman Darius Gray returned to the Baton Rouge and Death Valley impressed again.
“My OV was fantastic,” Gray stated. He spent a lot of time with offensive coordinator Joe Sloan and potential position coach Brad Davis. “The ability to play for a coach like Coach Davis and Coach Sloan excites me the most while winning a National Championship for the fans!”
Gray was able to continue building a bond with Brian Kelly, the staff and folks around the program.
“I got to be around the players and more coaches in the building!” Gray said. “I was able to spend some quality time outside of football!”

Other programs in the mix for Gray include South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Gray added, “LSU is definitely one of the top schools.
“The ability to follow the footsteps of many greats that came here before!”
The On3 Industry tabs Gray as the nation’s No. 1 interior offensive lineman and No. 23 prospect overall. South Carolina gets the last official visit from Gray this coming weekend.
