Michigan coaches visit 2026 4-star QB commit Brady Hart

Indialantic (Fla.) Cocoa 2026 four-star quarterback Brady Hart has been committed to Michigan since June 18. Following the decommitment of Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star quarterback Carter Smith in October, Hart is currently the only passer pledged to the Wolverines in any recruiting class.
With Michigan on a bye this weekend, Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore and offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell traveled to the Sunshine State to see Hart and Cocoa take on Lake Placid. The Tigers are the top seed in their postseason quadrant and ranked No. 13 in the state of Florida, according to the On3 Massey Ratings.
This season, Hart has thrown for nearly 3,000 yards with 28 touchdown passes. Cocoa is 6-3 and on a three-game win streak with victories against Villages Charter, Astronaut and Rockledge.
Hart visited Ann Arbor once again earlier this month and broke down the trip with On3.
“I loved being up there with everyone and spending time with the coaches and whole staff in general,” Hart said. “I had a chance to recruit some guys, and it was an amazing atmosphere. I’m really getting comfortable with all the staff. I really enjoyed it.”

As Michigan pursues the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2025 recruiting class, Bryce Underwood, Hart is not phased.
“I think it’s a good thing,” Hart said. “As a program, you want to get the best guy in each class. I think it’s super important for recruiting and building that 2025 class. I think it would be good to keep building that (quarterback) room.”
Hart is the nation’s No. 97 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 7 quarterback in the class and the No. 20 recruit from Florida.
