Michigan jumps in latest team recruiting rankings after landing 4-star WR Andrew Marsh

Michigan continues to climb up the On3 Industry Football Team Recruiting Rankings.
On Tuesday, the Wolverines beat out Texas, USC, and Colorado for Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh. And in the process, they moved a little bit closer to a top-10 recruiting class jumping from No. 14 to No. 13 and leapfrogging Texas.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Marsh is the No. 87 overall prospect and No. 12 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 16 player in Texas.
“Michigan is really just somewhere I feel really comfortable,” Marsh told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “Close to the coaches over the years. We stayed in really good contact. It’s somewhere that wins every year and somewhere I feel I can be developed and get to the next level.”
Wolverines charging for Top-10 recruiting class
The Wolverines have quietly had a strong summer on the recruiting trail, pulling in three top-100 prospects (including Marsh) since the beginning of July.
Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star safety Ivan Taylor flipped to the Wolverines from Notre Dame on July 8. Just an hour later, Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh four-star tight end Andrew Olesh made the call and joined the 2025 class.

Taylor is the nation’s No. 58 recruit and No. 6 safety, while Olesh checks in at No. 101 overall and No. 3 at the TE position. They now highlight the class alongside Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall, a top-60 recruit and top-five DL who pledged back in April.
Montgomery Village (Md.) Gonzaga four-star safety Kainoa Winston joined the class in June and is just outside the top 100 overall. Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star quarterback commit Carter Smith has continued to improve his stock and is now the No. 16 QB in the cycle.
Of the 17 commits in Michigan’s class, 14 are four-stars. The class also ranks No. 3 in the Big Ten, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
