It is early for Loganville (Ga.) Grayson athlete Joseph Stone, but the sophomore already has close to 30 offers, he is already a four-star on On3, and he is a prospect to know in 2024.

Stone is a versatile 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete that can line up all over the field. Communication with schools is limited due to Stone still being an underclassman, but he has gotten out on numerous visits already.

In the fall, he took in games at Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, and Tennessee. He is planning a visit to Alabama on Jan. 29.

Some top programs have his attention early.

“Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, and Alabama stand out,” Stone told On3.

He offered quick thoughts on why those schools stand out.

“I love Georgia’s atmosphere their style of football. Clemson stands out because of my connection with them and the vibe there.

Michigan is another school that stands out because of the coaches, the people, and the culture there. I am visiting Alabama on Jan. 29 and this will be my first time there. They stand out because it is like WRU and their development of players is unreal.”

Not only will Stone have plenty of options when it comes to recruiting, but he will have position options as well. He is open, but he does have a preference.

“In college, I think I will play more of the wide receiver position with the ability to run well with the ball in my hands,” Stone said.

Another school to watch is Ohio State. Stone grew up an Ohio State fan. His mother is from Ohio.
