In their first season at Syracuse, Anae and Beck helped the Orange get off to a 6-0 start before the team’s 1-5 finish to the regular season. Syracuse is ranked fourth in the ACC in yards per play.
Prior to being hired by the Orange last December, Anae and Beck had been the OC and QB coach combination at Virginia (2016-21) and BYU (2013-15) under Bronco Mendenhall.
With help from Anae and Beck, Brennan Armstrong ranked second in the nation in passing at Virginia last year with an average of 404.5 yards per game.
The Anae to NC State news was first reported by ESPN.
