Former Texas A&M star Walter Nolen transferred from the program this offseason, taking up a new residence at Ole Miss. And Nolen issued a cryptic warning about his former program on social media on Wednesday.

On his Instagram account, Nolen posted the following:

“PSA if u going to A&M read ur contract thoroughly hmu if u got questions just tryna help”

Walter Nolen, of course, would know a thing or two about signing deals after spending some time as the nation’s No. 1 recruit. He commands a significant amount in the NIL space, by virtue of his reach and name recognition as the former No. 1 recruit — and of course his college production.

So it’s at least mildly interesting that he’s encouraging Texas A&M transfers to carefully look over any paperwork they may sign with the Aggies.

Nolen spent two seasons at Texas A&M, where he appeared in 22 games for the Aggies. He recorded 66 tackles, 11.0 tackles for a loss, 5.0 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass defended.

He’s expected to significantly bolster the interior of the defensive line at Ole Miss in 2024, perhaps even helping make the Rebels a playoff contender.

Walter Nolen was a former five-star prospect and the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation in the 2022 recruiting class. He was the top-ranked defensive lineman and the top player in the state of Tennessee, hailing from Powell (TN) Powell.
