Emerson, Georgia – Nike EYBL Session 1 is in the Atlanta area and hundreds of college coaches are in town to watch some of the top high school prospects in the country.

On3 was courtside for day two of the Nike EYBL session to talk top performers.

On3 MVP: Five-star PF Cameron Boozer – Nightrydas 16u

Cameron Boozer is the No. 1 player in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. The 6-foot-8 power forward exploded for a day two high of 40 points in his final game of the evening. Boozer went 15-17 from the field and 8-8 from the free throw line. He also added 17 rebounds.

The five-star plays with an excellent pace. He is not rushed and knows exactly where he wants to go with the ball. He is strong with the handle and plays with balance on the move. Boozer is also an excellent rebounder, high-pointing the ball with two hands in traffic. The efficiency was impressive, and so was the fact he continued to get to whatever he wanted.

Boozer is the son of former Duke Blue Devil and NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer. Duke head coach Jon Scheyer has been courtside for each of Boozer’s games this weekend

2. SF AJ Dybansta – Expressions

Only a class of 2026 player, AJ Dybansta, has made his mark on the 17u circuit during session one. The 6-foot-8 wing is the third leading scorer, 25.5, and leading rebounder, 8.0, playing up two age groups.

Dybansta has a great frame, very fluid. He can get to his spots off the bounce and confidently rise up from multiple levels to knock down the shot. He will need to continue adding strength to his base and core to continue adding to his game, but even that is nit-picking. Dybansta started the day with 29 points, going 10-22 from the field.

Dybansta’s recruitment has not really begun; after all, he just finished his freshman year of high school.

3. Four-star PG Curtis Givens – MoKan

Curtis Givens is playing with a lot of confidence this weekend. In both games on Saturday, he finished with 28 points, in both games he played. The 6-foot-3 point guard played with an excellent pace, probing the defense and getting to his spots. He is an adept scorer, but also making good reads and throwing great passes.

The development in Givens game over the past six months has been noticeable. Last summer, he was a scoring guard. While he is still capable of putting the ball in the basket, his growth as a true point guard is obvious. And in this event, he has shown both sides as he is putting things together.

LSU head coach Matt McMahon was at each of Givens’ games on Saturday.

4. Four-star SG Austin Swartz – Boo Williams

Currently, Austin Swartz is the second-leading scorer on the 17u circuit. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has had no problem putting the ball in the basket. This has been something those watching have come to expect from him.

Swartz has a good basketball feel. He can really shoot it with deep range and is comfortable getting it off the catch or the bounce. He has more pop in his step than you would imagine, and he is a good passer, moving the ball around the floor from a standstill or a live dribble.

Swartz is averaging 24.3 points on 52.9 percent from the field and is 12-24 from three on the weekend. He picked up an offer from Indiana on Saturday night.

5. Four-star C Thomas Sorber – Team Final

Thomas Sorber is a throwback big, with some new-age attributes. The 6-foot-9 post player has a strong base with long arms and excellent footwork and touch. He is crafty around the basket and able to finish from multiple angles with both hands. He also stuck an 18-foot pick-and-pop jumper today.

Sorber is a very strong rebounder. He high-points the ball with two hands and holds on strongly as he outlets the pass. Programs like Virginia, Miami, and Georgetown were consistently courtside for Sorber here. He is averaging 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

6. Five-star SF Karter Knox – Florida Rebels

Karter Knox is an explosive wing. The 6-foot-6 forward plays the game with a lot of pop, exploding on both ends of the floor. Knox has been great in the passing lanes this weekend, showing both anticipation and aggression.

He is able to quickly turn defense into offense, getting out in the open floor and finishing high above the rim. Knox has shot the ball well this weekend, going 8-19 from three and 10-14 from the free throw line. The production has been consistent.

Louisville head coach Kenny Payne has been courtside to watch Knox. So has Louisville assistant Nolan Smith. John Calipari was at both games on Saturday, while assistants Chin Coleman and Oliver Antigua have been courtside as well.

7. Five-star PG Boogie Fland – PSA Cardinals

Boogie Fland went for 31 points in his final game of Saturday. The No. 8 player in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking was 9-16 from the field, 5-9 from three, and 8-9 from the free throw line. The 6-foot-3 point guard played with confidence and poise. His offense was set around his shooting, and he used great pace to get to his spots.

Fland has been pretty tight-lipped about his recruitment; however, Alabama, Kentucky, and North Carolina are schools who watched multiple games of his at Nike EYBL Session 1.
