Ohio State flips Wake Forest 4-star LB commit Braxton Rembert

Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek linebacker Braxton Rembert flipped his commitment from Wake Forest to Ohio State on Tuesday.
The Rivals four-star prospect officially visited Columbus over the weekend.
“The atmosphere is unreal,” Rembert told Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong afterward. “The opportunity to play under Ryan Day and his program after they just won the national championship is not something I thought I would be able to do if you told me this 10 months ago.”

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound standout committed to the Demon Deacons in June over offers from programs such as Army, Southern Miss and USF. The Buckeyes began to emerge as an option earlier this fall and eventually extended an offer in October.
Rembert joins an Ohio State class that ranks No. 6 in the Rivals Industry Team Rankings.
Rembert made his debut in the latest Rivals300 on Monday. He is now the No. 202 overall prospect and No. 12 linebacker in the 2026 class, according Rivals. Rembert is a Rivals outlier, as no other recruiting outlet has him rated as a four-star.
