2026 OT Aaron Thomas commits to Ohio State

Phoenix Mountain Pointe three-star offensive tackle Aaron Thomas has committed to Ohio State.
He chose the Buckeyes over an offer list that also includes the likes of Florida State, Auburn, Texas, Texas A&M, Washington, Arizona State and North Carolina.
Thomas is the No. 522 overall prospect and No. 39 OT in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 7 player in Arizona.
The 6-foot-6, 275-pounder is set to head to Columbus next year, joining an Ohio State class that’s once again pushing for the top spot in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

He took an official visit to the Big Ten on the weekend of May 30 and head coach Ryan Day and Co. seized momentum from there.
“The environment was great,” Thomas told On3’s Steve Wiltfong after the OV. “Everyone was hyped up to be there. The chance to play for maybe the best program in the country is exciting. The standard of excellence at OSU is so high. It forces you to get better. That gets me fired up because I’m really competitive and I just like winning.”
Thomas is the 17th commitment of the cycle for the Buckeyes, joining up with a class that comes into the day ranked No. 5 nationally. Of those 17 pledges, 14 rank as blue-chip prospects, headlined by five-stars Chris Henry Jr. and Blaine Bradford. They’re flanked by three more top-100 prospects in linebacker Cincere Johnson, wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt and offensive tackle Sam Greer.
