Buford (Ga.) four-star offensive lineman Graham Houston is staying home.

On Thursday night, he committed to in-state Georgia over fellow finalists Ole Miss, Florida and Florida State, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Houston had scheduled official visits with each program — including a trip to Georgia the weekend of June 6 — but decided to pull the trigger early and announce his decision.

“They have a great history at Georgia and coach Searels is a really good coach,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons when he announced his top schools back in March. “He has put a lot of guys in the NFL, so that is nice. Georgia is very close to home and that is important too.”

The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder is the No. 665 overall prospect and No. 62 OL in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3, however, is much higher on him than the other three services. In addition to being the only company to rate him as a four-star, the latest On300 rankings tab him as the nation’s No. 229 recruit and No. 12 interior lineman in the country.

Houston has been a fixture in Athens over the past year, visiting half a dozen times between June 2024 and now. Over that time, they’ve continued to make him feel like a major priority.

“The amount of time the coaching staff spent with me and how they made me a priority stood out to me,” Houston said in January after visiting for the program’s elite junior day.

He becomes the seventh commitment for the ‘Dawgs this cycle, joining fellow blue-chippers Vance Spafford, Zech Fort, Lincoln Keyes and Brady Marchese in the class. UGA also has pledges from three-star safety Kealan Jones and defensive lineman Seven Cloud.
