Dallas (Ga.) Paulding County three-star offensive tackle Tyreek Jemison received offers from
nearly 50 Division I programs. Kentucky offered the 6-foot-5, 330-pound recruit on Feb. 6 and
since then, the Wildcats have been “consistent” in his recruitment.

Head coach Mark Stoops called Jemison almost every day and offensive line coach Eric
Wolford built a relationship with him. These efforts paid off for the SEC program, as the
talented offensive lineman has committed to Kentucky over Ole Miss.

“I love the individual plan they have for me,” Jemison told On3. “They will allow me to play
very early. I love the people there as well, especially coach Wolford and coach Stoops.”

Jemison spent last weekend on an official visit to Lexington. When the No. 73 player in Georgia
stepped off the Wildcats’ campus, he knew it “was home for me” and the place where he wanted
to spend the next four-to-five years.

“I’m a hard commit right now,” said Jemison, the No. 661 overall prospect and No. 49 offensive
tackle in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. “I’m 100% a Wildcat.”

Both Stoops and Wolford played a key role in Jemison’s decision. He is looking forward to
playing for them in the future.

“By far the best relationship I have on the coaching staff is with coach Wolford,” Jemison said.
“He played the game of football and his passion is very relatable to mine. It lights the fire in
me.”

“I love coach Stoops because of his passion for the game and the way he spent time with me
every day,” he added. “He also showed me that I was his number one guy. He showed it in many
ways and proved it to me in many ways on my official visit.”
