MESA, Ariz. — Season 2 of the Overtime OT7 circuit got underway in the desert on Saturday as some of the top 7-on-7 programs around the country featuring some of the best recruits in the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes began competition.

This weekend’s slate features 24K, D1 5 Stars, Defcon Texas, Deuces, EPS Blaze, Florida Fire, Hunco Elite, Lo Pro, Midwest Boom, Pink Outlaws, Raw, SFE, SMSB, Team Elevate, Team Lillard, Trillion Boys, Tucson Turf and 940 Elite. It amounts to more than 65 total blue-chip recruits, more than 40 players inside the On300 for 2024.

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons and National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman were on hand for the OT7 West action. For the purposes of On3’s Overall Top Performers, we’re looking at the cumulative showing over the course of the two days in Arizona.

Here are the top performers headlined by two-day MVP Cam Coleman.

On3 MVP: Cam Coleman

On300 WR Cam Coleman was On3’s Day 1 top performer and continued to play at a high level during championship Sunday. Coleman led the tournament in receiving touchdowns on consecutive days as arguably the hardest receiver to contain from the start of OT7 West, and that includes facing double teams throughout the day on Sunday.

The top-20 pass-catcher from Phenix City (Ala.) Central dominated 50-50 balls and was a jump-ball king. Coleman was explosive working in the middle of the field picking up large chunks of yards after the catch and showcased his long-striding speed. He’s a fluid route runner with a robust catch radius, and his stock continues to be on the rise after a strong showing in Arizona.

2. WR Xavier Jordan

On300 WR Xavier Jordan was a major playmaker for Trillion Boys with unofficially eight touchdowns over a two-day stretch. Jordan was in a multitude of ways — working in the middle of the field and coming up with several outstanding contested grabs, especially by the goal line. Jordan gets off the line very well, creates separation and consistently produces big plays. The West Coast four-star WR was equally as dynamic stretching the field and adjusting to the ball in tight windows.

3. ATH Boo Carter

There’s not much that Boo can’t do. On300 ATH Boo Carter arrived late to pool play Saturday and nabbed a pick, then piled up four touchdowns on Sunday as the go-to playmaker on offense for SMSB. The Tennessee standout was a reliable target for the span of the weekend, able to find holes in the defense and making tough grabs in traffic, too. Those instincts showed up on defense as well.

4. QB Colin Hurley – LSU commit

Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity QB Colin Hurley made a compelling case as the top signal-caller in the desert this weekend. Hurley, an LSU commit, had fantastic chemistry with On3 MVP Coleman and the two accounted for some fireworks early and deep into the day on Sunday.

Hurley was also proficient throwing on the run and is very polished and sound with his throwing motion and delivery. He can also launch it from various angles without losing a second off his fastball. The future Tiger was certainly in a rhythm in Arizona.

5. WR Jeremiah Smith – Ohio State commit

Five-star Ohio State commit Jeremiah Smith quietly went about his business this weekend facing bracketed coverage and extra attention in the secondary. It comes with the territory. Nonetheless, Smith turned in several touchdowns on Saturday and again on Sunday. He’s a massive target with sure hands and a special ability to operate in tight spaces. He’s a fantastic route-runner that’s creative after the catch and routinely exploits 1-on-1 coverage.

6. QB Isaac Wilson

On300 passer Isaac Wilson was sharp for most of OT7 West. He led Pink Outlaws to the semifinals on Sunday and made big throws in big moments, including several big games en route to that round. Leading up to the semifinals, the Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon standout made a clutch throw to win the game in the quarterfinals. Wilson showed great touch and placed the ball very well on deep balls and had a strong case as the top quarterback facing the blitz as well.

7. WR Jordan Ross

Four-star Garden Grove (Calif.) Warren WR Jordan Ross piled up the receptions and trips into the paint as one of the most proficient pass-catchers on hand this week. Ross was sure-handed and quick to get open working out of the slot, then kicked it into another gear with the ball in his hands. The 6-foot, 180-pounder was outstanding coming away with contested grabs and was quietly very productive moving the chains and operating in the red zone.

8. CB Martels Carter

2025 Tennessee CB Martels Carter was a key part of the defensive game plan for SMSB as he sparked a deep run with a pair of Sunday interceptions. Working largely in the middle of the field, the 6-foot-1.5, 190-pound Carter was aggressively closing in on balls and found himself near the football time and time again. He’s a versatile piece that can be moved around the secondary with length and also instincts.

9. TE Davon Mitchell

Davon Mitchell got into the end zone on Day 1 six times for touchdowns with a two-point conversion as well. The elite 2025 TE that’ll play his junior season on the Left Coast at Los Alamitos (Calif.) used his body to his advantage to work outside the numbers and in the middle of the field. Mitchell has outstanding hands and is proficient winning in contested-catch situations. He’s also technically sound working on the perimeter and is a distinct mismatch by the goal line.

10. TE Elija Loften

On3 Industry Ranking four-star TE Elija Loften was pulling in catch after catch on Day 2 of the event. He flashed some on Day 1, but on Day 2 emerged as a primary target in the passing game for the Trillion Boys. The big tight end worked the middle of the field and showed some ability to get separation. He also got into the end zone, moved the chains on a regular basis and showcased consistent ball skills throughout.

Additional notes

+ Bolingbrook (Ill.) WR I’marion Stewart has excellent quickness and can get open in a flash. He was fantastic working on crossing routes and down the seam, and when he found space he was able to accelerate in a hurry and eat up yardage.

+ Dezmen Roebuck Tuscon (Ariz.) Marana was the spark for the hometown Tucson Turf. The 2025 WR was a moveable chess piece on offense that caught everything thrown in his direction. He was unguardable in the semifinals and smoothly went about business. He runs crisp routes and just beginning to scratch the surface.

+ Josisha Trader quietly piled up first-downs and important grabs for SFE and also worked at defensive back in spurts throughout the week. Trader was sure-handed working in traffic and also explosive on a few short receptions that turned into big plays.

+ Jayln Crawford had a game-clinching interception in the quarterfinals to help Trillion Boys advance. He is a big corner who went up against big-time receivers all weekend.

+ Micah Alejado looked like a pitching machine at times this weekend. He threw with great accuracy and delivered passes on time. His arm is not the strongest and there are questions about his size, but he was one of the most consistent quarterbacks at this event.

+ Ole Miss QB commit Demond Williams delivered some great passes. He has a live arm and he was in tune with his receivers most of the weekend. He showed the ability to throw on the move as well.

+ Tony Williams Palm Beach (Fla.) Central, a converted wide reciever for SFE, was fluid in coverage Saturday with a few pass deflections, then came away with a timely interception on Sunday. With size (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) and instincts, Williams is a player to know.

+ Donovan Olugbode was a reliable pass-catcher for Trillion Boys that piled up five touchdowns on Saturday alone. The big-bodied 2025 WR from Chicago has outstanding hands and body control to make difficult catches look seamless.

+ 2025 WR Adrian Wilson was a go-to playmaker for Deuces, especially on deep balls downfield and by the end zone. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder from Central Texas was efficient reeling in 50-50 balls and working in traffic by the end zone.

+ On300 WR Terrance Moore was another big-play producer on 50-50 balls. He was outstanding in jump-ball scenarios by the goal line as well as on deep shots downfield.

+ Mike Matthews can take over when he gets the opportunity. He made a handful of “wow” receptions on both Saturday and Sunday and was consistently in the thick of the conversation for some of the highlight plays in timely moments throughout the weekend.

+ Tarrion Grant is a name to know. The 2025 cornerback has great size and he was strong in coverage this weekend. He had a key interception to close out a big win for Sound Mind Sound Body on Sunday.
