Preston Fowler is the No. 141 player in the current 2025 On3 150. The 6-foot-7 forward who transferred to Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy this season is the No. 29 power forward in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.

“I’m a versatile and athletic shooter,” Fowler told On3. “I think I can do a little bit of everything. I can shoot, I can finish, I can rebound, and I can pass. I’m shooting the ball now, I think I’ve always been pretty versatile, but because I’ve always been one of the tallest players on the team, I’ve played a lot down low. My shot is evolved and I’ve been consistent every single time I step on the court.”

At the recent National Prep Showcase, Fowler finished with a well-rounded double-double in Brewster’s long game of the event. He had 12 points and 11 rebounds while going 2-4 from three.

On3 caught up with three-star Preston Fowler after a live viewing at the National Prep Showcase to get an update on his recruitment.

“I haven’t taken any official visits yet,” Fowler said. “I’ve taken unofficials to Penn State and Wake Forest so far, they’ve both offered.”

Fowler Talks Penn State and Wake Forest

Penn State: “I would just say the coaching staff. They’ve been good, and they looked like they wanted me to go there. They are building a great program. Coach (Mike) Rhoades is there now. He was just at VCU and had some great stuff in the past. I think he’s going to lead them to a great season, and program.”

Wake Forest: “With them, I would say that they just communicate so well. Their team, they talk every time down the court and they’re just a great team to be around.”

Fowler Talks Upcoming Visits

“I’ve talked with Providence and Georgetown about visiting too,” Fowler said. “December 23rd is the only confirmed date. Providence wants me to come down to a game

Providence: “They’re a great program, and I think that he’s a great coach. I think they’re going to be a great program again even though the coach left last year, and Coach (Kim) English I think will do great things this year.”

Georgetown: “I talk with Coach (Jeff) Battle a lot down there. He is a great coach, I like him a lot, and Georgetown is a great program. He is trying to get me down there to the campus. They were at Providence last year and made that into a great program. So bringing that to Georgetown, they’re just getting started with this.”

“I’ve heard some from schools like Notre Dame Xavier, St. John’s, UCLA, Boston College, and some other schools like that,” Fowler said.

In His Words

“I would say that I want to go to a place that is going to push me academically and basketball-wise,” Fowler said. “I want to earn everything I get. So I’m not just looking to go somewhere and just be given anything, I want to earn it and get better.

“How they play won’t really matter to me, but, I’ll say that I like a team that goes fast. A team that will run, but also has good plays some quick things that get guys open.”
