Lake Cormorant (Miss.) three-star cornerback Raderrion Daniels has committed to Purdue, he announced on Monday.

He chose the Boilermakers over Louisville, Arkansas and Texas A&M, among others. Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman was the first to report Daniels’ decision.

Daniels is the No. 632 overall prospect and No. 58 CB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 23 player in Mississippi.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder took an official visit to West Lafayette on the weekend of May 30. That trip led to momentum for head coach Barry Odom and the Big Ten program. He recapped his time on campus with On3’s Steve Wiltfong:

“Ov at Purdue was really great,” Daniels said. “They have a great coaching staff and I love that Coach Odom has some of his former players on his staff and the energy is great. What excites me is that I know that secondary is going to be good under Coach (Charles) Clark.”

Defensive backs coach Charles Clark led Purdue’s push for Daniels. Their relationship played a big part in his decision, he tells On3’s Chad Simmons.

“Relationship with Coach Clark, the coaching staff shows me a lot of love. I went to Purdue vs. Indiana basketball game and the fans treated me like family,” he said. “They have been recruiting me the hardest. Every day of every month.”

Daniels becomes commit No. 11 for Purdue this cycle. The Boilers have the No. 45 class in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Purdue has landed four pledges this month

Daniels’ pledge is the latest win on the recruiting trail for Purdue, which has now added four prospects to its 2026 class this month.

On June 1, Parrish (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney three-star wide receiver Kymistrii Young committed. He’s the No. 96 wideout in the cycle. Two days later, Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek three-star safety Dana Greenhow joined the class.

“I felt that this was the best move for me,” Greenhow told On3’s Chad Simmons. “At Purdue, I can play in a very good system where I can be used best based on my game. The environment is a great place where I can focus on school and football. The coaches showed me how and where I would be used in the system early on.”

On Sunday, Galloway (Ohio) Westland three-star athlete Emoni Smith made his commitment. He’s the No. 31 player in Ohio and the No. 40 ATH in the cycle.

Ontario (Calif.) Charter Oak three-star quarterback Corin Berry remains the top-ranked commit in the class. He committed on April 8 and now ranks as the No. 483 prospect and No. 28 QB this cycle. Indianapolis Lawrence Central three-star interior offensive lineman James Williams at the end of May and is the No. 7 player in Indiana.
