Reese Bassinger is running it back.

After weighing his professional options this summer, the veteran right-hander has confirmed to WVSports.com that he’ll be back in Morgantown for one more season.

“I’ll be back next season!! Let’s Go Mountaineers,” Bassinger told WVSports.com on Tuesday night.

An All-Big 12 Honorable Mention pick in 2025, Bassinger led the Mountaineers with 30 appearances and finished 7-1 with a 4.23 ERA. He also tied for the team lead in saves and had the best walk rate in the Big 12.

Now, he’s back for one more run, and with what this team is bringing back, expectations will be high.
