Corona (Calif.) Southern California Academy four-star guard <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/dior-johnson-144078/">Dior Johnson</a> will be <a href="https://twitter.com/draftexpress/status/1535007600261095430?s=21&t=00qpvIMDlheqfcdxJxV9Bw">decommitting</a> from <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/oregon-ducks/">Oregon</a>, according to ESPN.



ESPN reports he will be exploring other college options. He was previously committed to <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/syracuse-orange/">Syracuse</a> but decommitted in November 2022.



Johnson is the No. 50 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/basketball/2022/">On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.



“Dior Johnson is really quick,” Oregon head coach Dana Altman said in November 2021. “Really can push the ball and I think he’s someone who probably is only gonna be with us for a year because he’s got aspirations of moving on pretty quickly. But that’s the game and that’s where we’re at. If he has a great year, I hope he does.”



He currently has an <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/dior-johnson-144078/nil/">On3 NIL Valuation of $449k</a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
