Taylor Funk, a five-year standout at Saint Joseph’s, entered the transfer portal on Wednesday.

“The past 5 years at Saint Joseph’s University have been incredible,” Funk said via Twitter. “I would like to thank my parents and family for their constant support and guidance. I want to thank Coach Martelli for recruiting me and allowing me to enter such a historic program. I would also like to thank Coach Lange for my three years with him and the staff. After a ton of prayer and thinking, I have decided it is best for me to enter the transfer portal for my final year of eligibility as well as evaluate professional opportunities.”

In half a decade with St. Joe’s, Funk started 100 games and finished with 1,439 career points. This past season, Funk averaged 13.2 points and 6.6 rebounds this season but averaged 17.4 points and 5.7 rebounds last season. The 6-foot-8 forward also completed 37.3% of his three-pointers on 7.3 attempts per game this past season. Funk has one year of eligibility remaining.

Funk provided a list of schools to On3 that have reached out since entering the portal:

Alabama, Arkansas, BYU, Delaware, DePaul, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Iona, Arizona State, Loyola-Chicago, LMU, Minnesota, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rice, Saint Louis, Tulane, Colorado, VCU, William & Mary, Xavier.
