SEC Network’s Chris Doering has released his ultimate SEC offense entering the 2021 season. Alabama leads the way with three selections, while Auburn and Texas A&M are right there with two selections each. LSU, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Ole Miss also have selections on the ultimate SEC offense.

The ultimate SEC offense: Skill positions

Quarterback Matt Corrall, Ole Miss: Corral broke out last season, completing 70 percent of his passes for 3,337 yards and 29 touchdowns. He became the fourth player in SEC history to finish as the NCAA leader in total offense per game with 384.9 yards. Corral is a Heisman hopeful and one of the nation’s top quarterbacks.

Running back Tank Bigsby, Auburn: As a freshman, Bigsby ran for 834 yards and five touchdowns last season. He was named the SEC’s freshman of the year and was second team all-SEC selection. As Auburn installs a new offense, Bigsby could be in line for an even bigger breakout as a sophomore.

Running back Isaiah Spiller, Texas A&M: Spiller ran for 946 yards in 2019 as a freshman and he upped that total to 1,036 yards last season. He had six 100-yard rushing games and three multi-touchdown games. The 2020 All-SEC first team running back returns as one of the nation’s top running backs.

Wide receiver Treylon Burks, Arkansas: Burks hauled in 51 receptions for 820 yards and seven touchdowns in a breakout season last year. The All-SEC second team selection also ran for 110 yards, becoming one of two FBS receivers with 800 receiving yards and 70 rushing yards.

Wide receiver, John Metchie III, Alabama: Jaylen Waddle’s injury helped Metchie see a big role on Alabama’s undefeated team last year. He caught 55 passes for 916 yards and six touchdowns. Metchie is in line for a huge role this season with Alabama losing two starting receivers to the NFL.

Tight end, Jalen Wydermyer, Texas A&M: In ten games last season, Wydermyer caught 46 passes for 506 yards and six touchdowns. He was named to the All-SEC second team, and both Walter Camp and Athlon Sports named him to the preseason All-American second team for 2021.

Offensive line

Tackle Evan Neal, Alabama: As a freshman in 2019, Neal earned Freshman All-American honors as Alabama’s left guard. Last season, he started 13 games at right tackle on Alabama’s offensive line that anchored the nation’s leading scoring offense.

Tackle Darian Kinnard, Kentucky: Pro Football Focus ranks Kinnard as the best run-blocking offensive tackle in the country. Kinnard is a preseason first team All-American for Athlon, Walter Camp, and PFF. He has started 26 consecutive games, and is on the Outland Trophy watch list as the nation’s top interior lineman.

Center Nick Brahms, Auburn: Brahms has started 21 games for Auburn, and he is one of the nation’s top centers. Athlon and Pick Six named him to the third team All-SEC team. Brahms is also on the Rimington Trophy watch list.

Guard Ed Ingram, LSU: After missing all of 2018, Ingram returned as LSU’s left guard in 2019 on part of what was regarded as the top offensive line in the country. Ingram is one of the best all-around offensive linemen in college football, and he will anchor LSU’s line this season.

Guard Emil Ekiyor, Alabama: Last season, Ekiyor was the only starter on Alabama’s offensive line that did not start in 2019. Alongisde Neal, Ekiyor was a big part of the offensive line that protected for Alabama’s dominant offense. He started in 13 games last year, and he has 24 career games under his belt.
