Louisville, Kentucky – Nike took over Louisville, Kentucky for EYBL Session 3. On3 was courtside for the weekend. National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw brings his Shaw’s Superlatives.

2023 On3 Consensus

Most Valuable Player

6-2 SG Robert Dillingham, Team CP3

Robert Dillingham showed out despite his team going one and four on the weekend. The guard averaged 22.4 points, shooting 44.8-percent from the field during EYBL Session 3.

Dillingham is a pristine shot-maker. He creates space with footwork and a crafty handle, and he rises confidently from all over the floor.

Dillingham is set to commit in June. Kentucky, Louisville, and Memphis are involved.

Most Outstanding Player

6-6 PF Devin Royal, All Ohio

Devin Royal is about as steady as they come. He is an advanced scorer, able to finish plays from each level with touch and footwork.

His Sunday performance was one of the best of the weekend. Royal went for 29 points, going 12-16 from the field in the win over Team CP3.

Royal has taken three official visits; Iowa State, Marquette, and Penn State.

Best in (Under)class

6-3 CG Curtis Givens, MoKan Elite 16s

This live viewing was my first of Curtis Givens, and he far outplayed any expectations I had coming in. The 6-foot-3 guard played with a confident handle, a smooth pace, and advanced shot creation.

Givens continued getting better throughout the weekend. In his second game, he went for 23 points, his third game 21 points, and in his fourth outing, Givens went for 26 points on eight of 15 from the field.

Givens told On3 at EYBL Session 3 he will transfer to Montverde (FL) Academy next season. Tennessee has taken an early interest.

Mr. Defense

6-8 PF Sean Stewart, Florida Rebels

Sean Stewart’s motor runs hot. He is a workhorse who is not afraid of the dirty work. Stewart is a good rebounder on both ends; he moves his feet well on defense and understands rotations and playing big. He made hustle plays throughout the weekend.

Stewart is committed to Duke.

First Team

6-1 CG Trey Parker, Boo Williams

Trey Parker was one of the most explosive players on the EYBL Circuit this weekend. While a hip injury kept him out of some playing time, he made sure those watching knew who he was when on the floor. Parker averaged 18.3 points and 3.3 assists per game while knocking down three threes per game.

6-8 PF Milan Momcilovic, Team Herro

Milan Momcilovic had a considerable reputation coming into the weekend, and This was my first live viewing. Momcilovic averaged 23.2 points per game for EYBL Session 3. He added 4.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists; he shot 45.6-percent from the field and 31.5-percent from three.

6-7 SF Tyler Bey, Oakland Soldiers

Tyler Bey finished the weekend as strong as he possibly could. In his fourth game, Bey scored 20, and then in his fifth and final game, he finished with 35. The 35 points were the most impressive performance I saw at EYBL Session 3. Expect his recruitment to get a bump.

6-3 SG Wesley Yates, LivOn Fleur de Lis

Wesley Yates is a confident bucket-getter. He has long been a known shooter, but his development has come off the bounce. He is crafty and balanced getting to the rim, and his strength has him finishing in traffic. Yates averaged 20.0 points and knocked down 12 threes while shooting 52-percent from the field.

6-0 PG Ty-Laur Johnson, NY Renaissance

Ty-Laur Johnson was a dynamo all weekend. The quick on quick lead guard plays an aggressive style of basketball on both ends of the floor. He led his team to a five and zero record averaging 20.8 points, 6.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game for EYBL Session 3.
