Football season is in full swing — and the games continue to become more and more meaningful as the weather gets cooler and the stakes get higher.

After another weekend of visits and live evaluations, here is the latest on several blue-chippers in the 2024 and 2025 classes from On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman:

Four-star S Aaron Flowers – Oregon

On300 S Aaron Flowers put together one of — if not — the top performances during a live evaluation by a safety from this analyst’s perspective this fall. The Oregon-committed playmaker does everything at a really high clip and possesses a very well-rounded game.

The 6-foot-1, 200-plus-pounder had multiple pass break-ups and closes quickly and strong on the football. Flowers, who saw action back deep and also as a nickel, had a game-changing pick-six in the third quarter to give Forney (Texas) the lead. Flowers moves fluidly in coverage and made an impact defending his half of the field throughout the game.

The On3 top-100 safety has fantastic awareness and football intelligence. The future Duck has great command and feel patrolling the backend of the secondary and is a sure tackler in the open field and is more than willing to come down and play a physical brand of football near the line of scrimmage.

Four-star RB Kewan Lacy

On3 top-100 RB Kewan Lacy has a diverse skill-set for the running back position and at 6-foot and 205 pounds, is a playmaker with three-down potential at the next level.

Lacy’s season came an end in the second quarter with an ankle injury, but not before the 2024 RB made his mark as the centerpiece of the Lancaster (Texas) offense. As a runner, as a slot receiver, and as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, Lacy was dynamic with the ball in his hands. He’s got a suddenness to his running style, and is equally as impactful in and out of his cuts and running through contact. Lacy is an extremely gifted pass-catcher and also thrashing in between the tackles.

On3 ranks Lacy higher than the rest of the major recruiting industry. More on his recruitment here.

Three-star OT Tobias Steppes – TCU

TCU-bound OT Tobias Steppes has great length at 6-foot-6, 260-pound frame anchoring the edge of the Lancaster offensive line. Steppes plays mean and is an enforcer in the run game, with a lot of traits that should bode well as he continues to take steps and develop in pass pro. With a mauling play style, it would not surprise me to see Steppes eventually shift inside in Funky Town.

Three-star WR Emmanuel Choice – 2025

2025 three-star WR Emmanuel Choice came away with a pair of touchdowns in this playoff contest as the 6-foot-4, 185-pounder and was a massive big-play threat on the perimeter for the Tigers.

Choice is a big body on the outside. He’s also smooth and nimble with good hands, and can accelerate in a hurry. His size and long arms also creates mismatches in the passing game and gives another big threat in the red zone. He’s a stock-up candidate in next year’s cycle that’ll likely cause quite a stir as college coaches hit the road over the next few weeks.

Four-star LB Kelvion Riggins – 2025

2025 four-star LB Kelvion Riggins is a lightning bolt in the second level of the Forney defense as very sound run-stuffer capable of clogging holes in the middle and also speed to defend out of the sideline. Riggins plays with a ton of energy and loves the provide some thump on the closing end. The On300 junior linebacker is very reactive, very disciplined and has been a part of several teams with a lot of post-season success in his time at high school.

Four-star RB Javian Osborne – 2026

As we dip into December, we’re continuing to get a closer look at this very deep crop of 2026 running backs inside the Lone Star State, a group that certainly includes Forney’s do-it-all-purpose RB Javian Osborne.

The explosive play-making sophomore is 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds with a very violent running style, outstanding lateral quickness and consistently propels forward. Osborne has a strong lower half, has plus-balance to extend plays and also has the ability to make plays as a runner and also as a receiver out of the backfield. He’s strong and shify with speed to break loose and projects as a very high-level offensive weapon.
