Tarkanian Classic: Day 2 Live Updates

Las Vegas, Nevada – The annual Jerry Tarkanian Classic has tipped off in Las Vegas, and, as usual, there was a lot of talent in the building. The host school for the event is Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman High. 

Over 100 teams were present from Florida, Nevada, Arizona, California, Washington, Utah, Canada, and Australia. The event is split into two sessions, the Prep Division and the High School Division. December 16-18 is the prep division and December 18-21 is the High School Division.

Tarkanian Classic Day 2 Updates

1:00 PM PST – UCLA was at Bishop Gorman to watch four-star 2026 PG Ikenna Alozie. Alozie is the No. 13 player in the 2026 On3 50. The Glendale (AZ) Dream City Christian guard finished the game with a game-high 22 points. UCLA is among a long line of offers for the electric guard.

2:20 PM PST – Penn State was courtside to watch unsigned 2024 four-star power forward Luke Bamgboye. The Chandler (AZ) AZ Compass power forward is one of the top uncommitted players in the 2024 cycle.

3:40 PM PST – Representatives from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls. Sacramento Kings, and Houston Rockets are courtside watching 2025 No. 1 overall AJ Dybantsa and 2026 No. 1 overall Tyran Stokes, teammates at Napa (CA) Prolific Prep.

3:40 PM PST – Washington State was in to watch 2026 three-star guard Katrelle Harmon of Seattle (WA) BFL Prep. Harmon finished the game with 13 points and a number of assists against top-five-ranked Napa (CA) Prolific Prep.

6:20 PM PST – Penn State was court-side for signees three-star SG Dominick Stewart and four-star PF Miles Goodman. The two are teammates at Los Angeles (CA) So Cal Academy. Goodman had ten points and Stewart knocked down a pair of threes in the run-away win.

6:20 PM PST – The Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder were court-side at the Tarkanian Classic to put eyes on 7-foot-2 four-star Missouri signee Trent Burns.

6:20 PM PST – New Mexico signee Jovan Milicevic exploded for a day-high 27 points in front of two of his future coaches. He scored at every level and also dished out a number of assists.
