Texas A&M is now ranked No. 20 in the 2023 On3 Consensus national team recruiting rankings after landing a commitment from elite four-star cornerback Bravion Rogers. Texas A&M moved up seven spots with the addition.

The four-star initially decommitted from Texas A&M just a few weeks ago after schools like LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Miami and more maintained communication. He had a plan to take all five of his official visits, explore other options and make a decision in December. Instead, after just a few weeks of talking to other schools, the top-50 prospect is back in the Aggies’ class.

The La Grange, Texas, native is the second highest rated commit in the Aggies’ 2023 class with a score of 95.88. Rogers is the No. 9 prospect in the state of Texas. Texas A&M now holds 10 commitments.

Although the Aggies only holds 10 commitments, seven of them are blue chip (4+5 stars) recruits. This alludes to the Aggies’ chances to back up their historic 2022 class with another elite class.

The Class

As a result of Roger’s commitment, the Aggies have a total score of 89.225, placing them just behind Florida State, who has a score of 89.294.

Texas A&M is very much in play for Top 100 prospects like five star safety Peyton Bowen, wide receiver Hykeem Williams, defensive lineman David Hicks, defensive back Javien Toviano, offensive lineman TJ Shanahan, and other top prospects such as wide receiver Adam Hopkins. And that means the Aggies could move up the rankings again soon.

The tenth member of the 2023 Texas A&M recruiting class, Rogers joins five-star linebacker Anthony Hill, four-star defensive backs Jayvon Thomas and Dalton Brooks, four-star offensive linemen Chase Bisontis and Colton Thomasson, and four-star linebacker Daymion Sanford. Also in the class is three-star defensive lineman Samu Taumanupepe, three-star offensive lineman Naquil Bertrand, and the nations No. 1 punter, Tyler White.

Texas A&M is looking to take under 25 prospects this cycle.

Texas A&M is now the No. 8 highest ranked SEC school.
